Psalm 5

Listen to my words, Lord;
what happens when the wicked
find refuge 
in You?

Did they find refuge
because they were good?

or is refuge more like grace
like predestination -
there's nothing
any one of us 
can do
it just is

Surely David knew this.
had to hope this
and Noah, too.
And Judas, right?
And me, too.

all of us 
wicked
and rejoicing
in You forever
