Enjoying: Hennepin from Ommegang Brewery in a Dogfish Head Alehouse St. Patrick’s Day pint glass. Is that OK to mix the beer and the glass?
Making: lists and plans with a Snow White pencil.
Feeling: happy to have completed another residency and happy to be back home again.
Reading: Breath for the Bones by Luci Shaw. A lovely book for anyone really, but especially anyone who is interested in faith and creativity.
Hoping: for warmer weather. I think this is the first Spring in DC that I haven’t had a chance to wear flip flops in March. I love flip flops. They are my favorite kind of shoe. I want to wear them ASAP. I have no patience for this kind of weather.
Five Years Ago: I stand corrected. At a year and a half, Hadley was all bundled up at the Cherry Blossom Festival. No flip flops were worn that day.
Four Years Ago: A great video of Harper screaming at her toys. You don’t want to miss it.
Three Years Ago: Here’s a post about the warmer weather we are enjoying. It happened four years ago on this date. We will not be enjoying warmer weather on April 2, 2013.
Two Years Ago: Awww, Baby Otto. I love this one.
Last Year: Ticks.

I like flip flops as well. I wore them for three years straight while living in Micronesia. But haven’t had any on for a good six months now.
We’re still wearing gloves and hats most days. It’s going to be a late spring here in Minnesota too. And we’re so ready for warmer weather.

Flip flops are the best. I love them like friends, I’m ashamed to say. 🙂

if you want to know what sarah is like right now, just watch the video of harper attacking the monkey. is it bad that i’m nervous that sarah talks too much? and so loudly? i’m just afraid of how noisy our house will be in a few years…
calliefeyen says
Your house is going to be ridiculously noisy. We need to be neighbors because our girls would be the best of friends and also, they’d always have somebody to talk to.

don’t tease me like that. just say the word and i’ll start looking for a place for you. seriously. consider it.
